The main problem I am facing is the stutter, which makes the game appear to run slower than it is. Indoors, the game avgs around 40-50fps if there are NPCs around, and in class rooms, it shoots above 80-90fps and remains butter smooth. At 2K (High or Ultra settings), which my RTX 3080 should handle just fine, it avgs around 30-50 fps in open world envrionments while dipping below 30fps during intense combat scenarios. You can, however, change the Rendering Resolution, which I guess is a subtitute for changing resolutions.Īt 4K native, the game doesn't go above 20-30fps. My PC specs:Intel i5-11400RTX 3080500GB SSDWindows 11įirst of all, the game doesn't support Fullscreen mode, and because of that, you cannot change the resolution. It uses Unreal Engine 4, and despite pre-rendering the shaders on every launch, the game stutters a freaking lot.

Hogwarts Legacy on PC is an unoptimized mess.
